When you perform a stock movement the reference number of the transfer will be created automatically. Stock movements are used to convert bottles from one code (typically a gift set) to another (the base product code). To perform a stock movement, the retail price for the two codes must be identical. Each stock movement will only involve a single item (with both its old NABCA code and its new NABCA code).
First select the item that you want to do a stock movement from. After you have selected this item, the "To NABCA" dropdown will populate with other items at the same price. Select the code you are transferring the bottles to, enter the quantity in the quantity text box, and then click on the Add button to add the item to your transfer. If necessary, you can modify the quantity transferred in the box to update the total bottles transferred out.
Clicking on the Finalize (Save) button will save this transfer to your store and update your inventory.
You can reprint your transfers from the Reports menu.
You can only perform a stock movement on the number of bottles currently in your inventory. If you
attempt to transfer more bottles than you have on hand, you will receive a message like this:
You are trying to transfer more bottles of 11296 than you have in inventory.
The quantity of bottles transferred must be a positive integer less than 999. If you enter an
invalid transfer amount, you will receive this message:
Please enter a quantity between 1 and 999 for the transfer. or
Could not update the quantity for the stock movement. Please enter a value
between 1 and 999.
If you click on Finalize (Save) after making changes to
the transfer quantity and the value you have entered is more than the bottles on hand, you will receive
this warning:
Please ensure the quantity for the transfer is entered correctly before finalizing.
