Tax Exempt Sales Entry

The tax exempt sales entry page allows you to record sales one product at a time. At the top of the page, you will first select the NABCA code of the product you are recording sales for in the dropdown, this will load information about the product (description, metric size, retail price, discount price, beginning on hand, and current on hand). Below this information is a section about the sales for the current week, with a column dor each day's sales information.

Unlike the general retail sales entry page, the tax exempt page is colored pink. This is a visual aid to allow you to easily determine which page you are using to enter sales. Exempt sales will be listed in parentheses after the normal sales amount. The amount of tax exempt bottles sold is included in with the normal retail sales number, so a listing that shows "1 (1)" is one retail bottle sold that day with that one bottle being tax exempt. The sub-total of "3 (1)" means that three total bottles were sold at retail price, one of which was tax exempt. This is to help you visibly distinguish which sales are taxed and which are tax exempt.
